The Signature holes on the outgoing nine are the par four 2nd, and par five 9th. The second is a long uphill par four with deep bunkers guarding the undulating green. The 9th is a par five that offers risk and reward

for those who feel brave. A long drive over a ravine is a must if  you are to have any chance of getting home  in two shots. Even those golfers who choose to play it safe will have to navigate one of our signature "trees in the fairways" on their second and third shots. The incoming nine features number 10, a 258 yard par three surrounded by the lake on three sides. Labeled by many the "toughest par 3 in Kansas City", even from the middle tees at 165 yards, the green on this tough par 3 is difficult to hit. A difficult hole that almost always is affected by the wind, number 13 is a long par four. The fairway is 27 yards wide in the landing area, and the hole has fairway bunkers and greenside bunkers that are deep and difficult. Once on the green, it is a test of great putting strokes. Number 17 is the signature hole of the entire course. A long par five, it is difficult to reach in two because of our signature "trees in the fairways". Incidentally, while on the 17th tee, take a moment to view the scenic panorama because it is one of the highest points around the lake. The view is spectacular.

Most of the "lake" holes are on the front nine, with the back nine going back inland. This by no means is the end of the scenic holes. There are many ponds and wooded wildlife areas on this nine holes that offer beautiful views along with challenging shot making opportunities. The eighteenth hole is the signature of the back nine.
A long dogleg par five with a 30 year old cottonwood tree in the middle of the fairway makes a player choose which side of the fairway he wants to approach. Almost always unreachable in two shots, this hole will test your short game abilities.

Academy
Golf Course
At Paradise Pointe
Featuring two par 5's a par 4, and a par 3, our unique Academy course is a fun challenge for beginners or seasoned players. These holes are not of the "executive" type but actual full length holes. This offers players new to the game a place to learn, and veteran players a place to hone their game. The 4th hole features a dogleg par 5 that has a difficult fairway to hit. For an inexpensive greens fee you can play the Academy Course twice for a total of eight holes, and additionally the Academy Course affords players the chance to play in less than 2 hours. All the holes have bunkers and subtle greens that make for an enjoyable round.
