Paradise Pointe Golf Academy offers professional instruction for golfers of all skill levels. Whether you’re new to the game, a seasoned player, or someone who plays occasionally, our goal is simple: help you improve your game and enjoy golf even more.
Instruction is led by Director of Instruction, PGA Professional Tim Underwood, who brings decades of experience to every lesson and is available seven days a week. From single lessons and discounted lesson packages to junior instruction, women’s programs, short-game coaching, golf course management sessions, and professional club fitting, Tim provides instruction tailored to your goals.

Private Lessons
Private lessons are designed to focus on specific areas of your game through personalized, one-on-one instruction. This approach helps you build a stronger golf game while better understanding how your swing is designed to work. Lessons address both the physical and mental sides of golf to help you see lasting improvement.
A six-lesson package is available at a reduced rate.

Golf Fore Women – Level 1
Golf is best learned in a fun, supportive environment, and that’s exactly what Golf Fore Women offers. This program allows women to learn the game alongside other women in a relaxed and encouraging setting.
Whether you’ve never played golf or have limited experience, this program is the perfect introduction. Instruction begins with putting and chipping, then progresses to the full swing, covering grip, stance, and posture. In the final week, participants take their skills onto the course for a few holes to bring everything together.

Additional dates will be offered. Groups may also be formed upon request or you can form your own group.
Golf 101
Golf 101 is designed to teach you everything you need to start playing golf in just a few lessons. This co-ed program combines fun, fitness, and fundamentals in a casual, welcoming environment.
Participants will learn the essential skills needed to enjoy the game, starting with putting and chipping and progressing to the full swing. The final session takes place on the course for real-play experience.

Short Game Lessons
The short game is one of the fastest ways to lower your scores. Paradise Pointe Golf Academy is well-known throughout the Kansas City area for exceptional short-game instruction.
From putting and chipping to pitching, bunker play, and finesse shots around the green, Tim teaches proven techniques that produce immediate results, no matter what your current skill level is.
Professional Club Fitting
Paradise Pointe General Manager Eddie Hall and PGA Professional Tim Underwood are dedicated to putting the right clubs in your hands to help you play your best golf.
Professional club fitting can instantly improve distance, accuracy, and consistency. We fit drivers, irons, wedges, and putters, customizing every detail: shaft flex, grip size, lie angle, ball flight, club length, and set makeup. See results immediately on the monitor and on the range.
We custom fit all major brands, including Titleist, Ping, Callaway, TaylorMade, Cobra, Mizuno, Cleveland, and more.
